With the increasing functionality of casting products in many fields such as the environment, energy, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace industries, the requirements for surface smoothness, packing density, and strength of molds for various functional materials (porous and non-porous) have become more sophisticated, and the characteristics of casting sand that constitutes molds have become very important. In this web seminar, we will introduce casting sand handling, sieving, and measurement technology using dynamic image analysis.
